Nothing says “Summer” like sitting back and enjoying a frosty fruity beverage with friends on the porch! My drink of choice this season is Summer Sangria! We love reminiscing good times and planning our over-the-top dream destination vacations with some tropical tunes in the background to set the vibe (I’m talkin’ a lil Jimmy Buffet, and let’s not forget ole reliable “Summertime” by Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince! Talk about throwback! What are some of your favorite summer jams?)
This Summer Sangria comes together with just a few simple ingredients:
(we cut ours in star shapes for a lil extra sass! You can use canned if you’re in a rush!)
2 750ml bottles of Moscato
1 1/2 cups coconut rum
Combine all ingredients in a big pretty pitcher and refrigerate overnight.
Serve chilled in fun funky or fancy glasses!
A few finishing touches I adore:
You know I have a thing for paper straws. I can’t explain it! I love them in every color and pattern. They do such a cute job of dressing up your drink!
Anything served in these old-fashioned glass jars or bottles automatically feels cute and crafty. I have used these on several occasions to take the beverage I’m serving up a notch!
Garnish with a strawberry slice, a pineapple pick, a lil umbrella, whatever makes your heart smile!
