Hey there, mommas! I’m back sharing another one of my go-to meal prep recipes!
In case you missed my previous post with yummy variations on egg cups for meal prep, one thing that has really made a difference for me in my movement toward my goals is More. Meal. Prep. Rather than finding myself seeking the convenience of the drive-thru, when I prepare meals ahead of time that I know not only fuel my body but also take me steps closer to my goal, I am more inclined and find it just as convenient to enjoy those foods instead. Here I share with you one of my favorite go-to meal preps that you can easily alter by switching up the ingredients to meet your taste!
This is another meal prep base idea that you can customize to your liking!
Brown your ground beef or turkey and season to your liking. Line the bottom of your bowl with your choice of lettuce. Add ground meat (pattied or crumbled, your call!) and other toppings as you prefer (keep it traditional with tomatoes, onions, pickles, etc or make it spicy with chopped jalapenos, red peppers, and onions, the toppings are up to you!) Drizzle with a sauce if you’d like, and enjoy!
