Make Time for Those Who Matter

In a world of algorithms, hashtags, and followers, sometimes we need to pause for a moment and focus on the importance of raw relationships, deep love, and authentic conversations.

We all get out of balance and off schedule. We don’t always check all the boxes on the To-Do list. But if there’s one thing we can do this month – it’s make time for those who matter! My Prayerful Planner helps me commit to making celebrations a part of my daily life and regular routine.

Celebrating my people is how I communicate my love and affection to the members of my tribe, and while social media shout outs and quick texts or simple cards are all wonderful ways to connect, planning face-to-face quality time with friends and family is one of my focuses in my Prayerful Planner this month.

I’m crazy grateful there are soooo many celebrations in scripture. I was reading in Luke 5 recently about Levi’s big reception and I was reminded that if God calls us to celebrate it must be important!. Intentionally celebrating each other keeps us in check mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. It makes us feel loved and it makes us want to love others.

So this month, let’s intentionally plan to make time to meet face to face with those who matter and celebrate them by expressing how incredibly grateful we are to have them in our lives!
