Make Monster Memories This Month

Can we make a pinky promise? You know things are about to get real when a girl requests your pinky, am I right?! Haha! We make it a priority around here to concentrate on family time and intentionally celebrating the people in our lives, so let’s pinky promise that we will keep that the focus and not get caught up in big elaborate over-the-top parties, outrageous decor, and frivolous front porch flare, mmmkaaay?

You know what I’m getting at – whatever you do, keep your purpose at the center of your work. Don’t “do it for the ‘gram’” as we’ve heard people say. Don’t do it to compete with your neighbor or the PTA President. Whatever you do, do it with your friends and family at the center of your purpose, we can’t let each other lose focus! Sometimes, we gotta reel each other back in! We can make monster memories this month without dismantling our purpose.

We don’t have to pull out all the stops, but we can pull out a few props! Bust out your same stash from last year, add a few new Cute Not Creepy pieces to your festive fall frills if desired. When all else fails, girl – go for the googly eyes! These pieces are so very versatile, and you know I love materials that multi-task! Put a spin on last year’s stash by adding an eerie set of orbs. Press on some peepers to lunch box bites for a spooky surprise at snack time! Whatever you do, make those monster memories with your pumpkins as the center purpose!
