Grandmother’s Apple Cider Float

As the theme of the season calls for reflecting upon what we’re thankful for, I mentioned the moments shared with my extended family during our traditional time together at my Grandmother’s. As someone so special to my heart, she shows up in a lot of ways my senses recognize the season. The smell and taste of cider will forever send my soul right back to my favorite spot at her table as she would slide me one of her delicious apple cider floats. I think as parents sometimes it’s our duty to keep some of our most favorite old-fashioned traditions alive – may these floats be a forever fave for my fam!
