Grandma’s are magical ya’ll, aren’t they?
There are things that they can do that are nothing short of little miracles.
Each grandma is blessed with her own bag of tricks. Some grandmas are sensational story-tellers, or bedtime book readers, or crying baby calmers.
Some grandma’s work their best magic in the kitchen!

1 large box old fashioned oatmeal
2 cups sweetened coconut
2 cups nuts (any kind of a mix of different ones)
2 cups wheatgerm (optional)
1 tablespoon salt (yes, one tablespoon)
3/4 cup brown sugar
Mix together then add:
1 1/2 cups honey
1 cup oil
2/3 cups water
3 tablespoons vanilla
Spread on 3 cookie sheets and back at 250 degrees for 2 hours, turning over the mixture every 1/2 hour.
After granola is cooked add in any dried fruits you would like.
