One of my favorite things about living in Kentucky is that we get to see and experience all the seasons! The crisp coolness in the air, the colorful transition in the leaves, the pumpkin spice flavored EVERYTHING. 🙂
Fall is a special time of year and calls for its own list of favorites!
Starting with just the right jacket! I love this one by Halogen! It’s warm enough to fight off the brisk air and cute enough to go from work to weekend!
Everyone has their own obsessions.. For some people it’s shoes, for others it’s makeup, or maybe the latest technology, for me it’s all about the EARRINGS!
ALL the earrings! I need the hoops, and the tassels, all the bells and whistles in every color available! Loving these gold hoops with pink accents!
Another definite Top Five Fall Fave is a good blanket!
The reasons and purposes for this fall staple are truly limitless!
A blanket to keep in the car for example! For impromptu picnics, to wrap around your sleeping mini me after Sunday night dinner at Grandma’s, or an unexpected evening of stargazing. Hey, it could happen! 😉 As the boy scouts say – Be prepared!
When the evenings start cooling off and the sun begins to go down a little earlier, my family pulls the party inside! We LOVE games, and enjoy spending a LOT of time playing outside during the summer. But just because the weather starts to change doesn’t mean we have to pull the plug on the fun! Tic Tac To is one of our family favorites, and we have it in many oversize outdoor varieties. This one is perfect for indoors AND I love that the style could basically double as decor, so if you forget to put it away – no big deal! It’s fancy fun!
I have really been loving some uplifting books lately!
(Did you see my list of Spectacular Summer Reads?)
This book speaks to me on so many levels, and I feel like I truly relate to how it encourages readers to rejoice in even the small victories. That is SO Certified Celebrator style!
“So Close to Amazing is a collection of hilarious and heartfelt reflections on getting it almost right―and how, instead of giving up, we can choose to simply embrace our real selves right where we are. It’s a story of transparency and honesty and recognizing that perfection is completely overemphasized and overrated. It’s about grace and learning from mistakes and rejoicing in every victory, no matter how small. Because when you find joy in the “you” God created you to be, you’ll discover the amazing that was there all along.”
