This year, consider changing things up from your usual holiday gift exchange with friends. We’ve got a gift-giving-gathering idea we think you will go ga-ga for! There might just be a new tradition in town!
The best thing about this get together? No after-party crew required!
Serve all your appetizers, finger foods, even desserts on reliable and durable Chinet® brand disposable plates that let you skip out on dish duty!
Not that we have anything against the age old “Secret Santa” method where you draw names and set a price point for the group. And we know you enjoy the yearly resurfacing of Great Aunt Margaret’s golden monkey mini-sculpture during your family’s Dirty Santa festivities. So by all means, keep on keepin’ on as you please! This party is by invitation only and is reserved for your FAVORITES!
Introducing – Favorite Things Holiday Party!
As the hostess, send an invite to your most favorite friends. You are going to enthusiastically challenge them to think of some of their most-loved things in their lives. Do they have a stationary set they swoon for? A body scrub they can’t do without? A new k-cup coffee flavor they are crazy for with a to-go coffee cup that’s great for convenience?
I know I am always on the move, and I love my Caramel Macchiato on the go in a Chinet® Comfort Cup® that I can just toss whenever I’m finished enjoying my morning brew!
Here’s how to play –
If you are a close clique of five, you are going to invite your friends to bring four of that favorite item they decided upon. (As a group, you may want to set a price point or range so that everyone chooses something of similar standard. Whether you keep things affordable with a simple dollar spot item, or really splurge on your soul sisters, you want to be sure you’re all on the same page.)
Friends will each bring their set of four favorite items to your gathering. They may choose to wrap them individually or present them in a cute collection. In this setting, they will share the things they love with the people they love! Each gal will gift one of her faves to each of her friends. As a group, you can share stories about the items you chose or describe what makes it special to you.
As you gab and grow closer, allow your full focus to be with your guests. Remember, when you choose to use Chinet products, there is no dish duty waiting for you, just toss when finished!
However you decide to celebrate this holiday season, we want to encourage you to truly take time to live in and enjoy the moment. Should you and your friends choose to throw a Favorite Things Party, we would love to hear about your experiences, and see what items you picked for the party!
