Christmas Coffee Bar
This past weekend I hosted a big Certified Celebrator shin-dig at my new house! We got crafty, we ate, we made macaroons, we created beautiful friendships and we connected deeply with women from all over the US. This was our 3rd annual signature CCLive Christmas event and we welcomed 25 incredible women into our home.
We plan these events with the intention to prepare our hearts for Christmas and to encourage and inspire intentional celebrating. One of our feature set-ups was our Christmas Coffee Bar stocked with all kinds of spirit and a little bit of sass!
You all know I am a HUGE fan of Hobby Lobby, and therefore of course 99.27% of the items featured on my coffee bar were scored at the big HL. One of our favorite pieces on the bar is this lovely letterboard. I adore decor that is versatile and can serve multiple purposes and seasons, and I am already scheming on how I will switch it up for Valentine’s Day or movie night!
Now, let’s be honest. When I roll into Hobby Lobby, I want to ROLL OUT with every. single. thing. in that place in my cart. Am I right?! How does the song go.. “I want it all! And I want it now!!” Haha 🙂 But, I can’t just speak the Certified Celebrator style – I’ve gotta live it too! You know part of our style plan is purchasing a few new pieces that work with items we (say it with me now..) ALREADY HAVE. (That’s right – this portion is proudly supported by husbys everywhere 😉 ) I have apothecary jars for days and love using them in any and all ways I can, so they are always easy peasy to tie in. The snowman I already had also paired perfectly with the new pieces I picked up! Setting up something sweet for a celebration doesn’t have to break the bank! (Plus – you ALWAYS utilize that dependable, loyal, always there when you need it – 40% Hobby Lobby coupon!!)
You can also save by snagging items that are already on sale! I got delicious discounts on the Christmas sign, cake stand, striped straws, coffee cups, and crushed candy canes that were part of the wonderful weekly deals at Hobby Lobby.
I jazzed up the plain coffee cups with some simple cute bows I made from red burlap that I picked up in the gift wrap section. This added just a taste of pizazz, a little personality to give the cups a lil Pop! Swig with style, sisters!
I also considered stamping something cute and custom on the cups, but opted for the bow this time. I think either one would work!
A Certified Shout Out to Hobby Lobby for their sensational seasonal supplies that really inspired all of us at the CCLive event to set up something sweet but simple to celebrate with special people in our homes!
