Best Blueberry Muffins

Sometimes it’s kinda crazy to think about HOW MANY different recipes there are for the SAME DISH. While it’s wonderful that we can create things in a variety of ways because each person has their own unique taste… At the same time, it can be rather overwhelming searching for and then trying out a mazillion different recipes in seeking “THE ONE”. Know what I mean? Whew!! So today I am sharing what I have found to be the BEST Blueberry Muffin recipe! Search no further, I hope this is the one for you!

Best Blueberry Muffins:

1/2 cup butter at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 TSP vanilla
2 TSP baking powder
1/4 TSP salt
2 1/2 cups blueberries (washed and dried)
2 cups flour
1/2 cup milk

For Topping:

1 TBS sugar
1 TBS nutmeg
Mix together.

Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Beat butter until creamy. Beat in sugar until pale and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla, baking powder and salt. Fold in half the flour with a spatula, then half the milk. Add remaining flour and milk. Fold in blueberries. Scoop batter into greased muffin cups or lined muffin cups. Sprinkle with topping mixture.
