Kentucky Pie

The Pie Queen has done it AGAIN, ya’ll!
This Kentucky Pie has an authentic country cookin’ taste that’ll leave you full as a tick! The recipe comes together simply and, Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, will have your cousins and neighbors askin’ what in tarnation they have to do for more of that fancy high falutin pie! Bless your heart, I reckon you better get in that kitchen and get started!

Gather up your ingredients!

Crust:

2 sticks softened butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
(Paddle attachment til combined)

Slowly add
2 cups Flour
Pinch of salt

Roll out into mini pie pans
or press into large pan.

Filling:

2 cups Brown sugar
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Milk
2 TBSP Flour
1 stick Melted butter
6 Eggs
2 tsp Bourbon
2 cups Pecans
1/2 cup Chocolate chips 

For fun added decoration
(plus who doesn’t love a little extra crust?!)
roll out additional crust and use Kentucky cookie cutter to create
shapes to top each pie!

Bake at 350 degrees:

30-40 min until set and browned
(large pie)

10-15 min until set and browned
(minis)
