B2S Prayer Breakfast

I am so excited to share a TRADITION we adore at my house!
The Back to School Prayer Breakfast!
The theme for this breakfast will be a Waffle Bar with all the fixins!
I have some totally cute decor and treat bag ideas to share with you as well!
The first day of school only happens once a year, let’s set the tone and send our kiddos off with full bellies and blessings for a sensational school year!

You guys know my obsession with cutesy paper straws, so naturally I was stoked to find red/white striped paper straws for this B2S breakfast! Green apple construction paper cut to shape and added with hot glue makes the adorable leaf accent to finish off the straws! I’m squealing these came out sooooo cute!!

These adorable apple plates are the perfect partner for our paper straws!
Goodie Bags come together in a snap with just some regular paper sacks and a black marker or black paint! This breakfast RULES! 🙂

The decor I went for has kind of a fun farmhouse vintage feel to it that I really enjoy! Simple is also key for me, so I loved how easy it was to throw these flashcards into the mix. With a hole punched through they can be used as garland, hung from fixtures, or even added into a B2S wreath!

Can you see the strands of ruler ribbon on this garland?!
Soooo simple but soooo perfect!

Nothing says special occasion quite like a HayHay Cookie!
(So delightfully darling, I’m having a hard time even letting Brady eat it! Each one is like a little sugary sweet masterpiece!)

Your Back to School Breakfast can be as big and bountiful as you want it to be!
Pull out all the stops, set out all the fixins, down to the last detail if that’s your style!
If you’re crunched for time, maybe you’re at work when your kids get up, everybody’s situation is different! Even a store bought bag of powdered donuts can say “I love you, have a blessed school year!” when presented in a thoughtful way.
Kids notice when we break routine, and they will feel special however you decide to celebrate!
